Doodle What??

I hope everyone had a lovely mothers day - I know I did.  Beautiful cards, 12 roses and a wonderful Sunday brunch - ahh if everyday could be like that  ....

I wanted to show you what is up and coming.  I'll have a preview video for you soon, but for now introducing DOODLE²  SQUARED -( get it - doodles in squares  ; ))

I wanted to show you a picture but typepad has not been working since the weekend for dowloading pictures - so I will redirect over to Creative Workshops for today and hopefully be able to download some pictures tomorrow!!!

Morning Art Part II of video

Happy Sunday all - it's beatuiful and sunny outside today here in Canada - not so warm - but still ... the sun is out.

I wanted to share the second half of my morning art this morning with you so there it is below.

Doodling again - will you join me?

I worked on some new doodles this past week - just simple, little flowers - some of them still works in progress

Still a work in progress below - needs more "coloring" as my husband calls it.

BTW - these flowers are exactly the type of work we will be doing in Drawing 101:  Faces and Flora which is my latest online class which opens today.

Morning Art Videos to Share

Hi Hi Hi, yes I know - it's almost 2 posts in one day but I was so excited to show you this video.  I promised that I would start sharing "art making" videos and I want to live up to that promise.

 

This is really a fun video which shows doodle art flowers in progress.  I hope you enjoy it!

Morning art .. how it came to be

I decided to start videoing myself as I do some pieces so that I could share them with you "live" in progress.  As I watched the video however I was surprised at how the pieces come to be.  I always think that these pictures just come together willy nilly.  When I watched the video however I saw the detail that goes into each line, circle or square.  Was fun to watch for me too. 

Hope you enjoy it.  Here a little video - sped up of course - it's a little over 3 minutes long.  The quality is not great - and excuse the shots that include the top of my head (good thing I got my roots done lol lol)
