Handmade DIY JournaL 2

shopWell as usual once I start something I can't stop.  So I went ahead and made another handmade journal after making the other I showed you in my last post.  I created this one after buying this lovely paper filled with cupcakes and teapots and other baked goods.

I also combined some other papers from another series of scrapbook pages I purchased at the same time - the two work well together

DIY -Handmade Journal

I have been meaning to put this together for such a long time. 

I had started "designing" papers just for my own use in my journals.  Some of them were photocopies of some of my journal pages, others were pages I designed in microsoft publisher for my journals and others were just bits and pieces of things I liked. 

I had these in a pile for such a long time - I had separated them out from my other bought scrapbooling papers and put them in a file folder waiting for just the right moment to use them.  Then the other day I came across them and just started putting this together on its own.  I ended up creating this simple little almost "naive" journal that I absolutely loved. 

So here are several shots below and I have now put this in my etsy shop since I went on a rampage and decided I am going to make more!

 

I collected all the pages and simply bound them using simple rings

DIY Gift Wrapping ... last minute ideas

Only a little time left everyone ... some final wrapping ideas for simple little gifts like magnets and even gift cards (the Starbucks ones go over big in my house!)
