Part II of my Boho Journal. As I mentioned in Part I this journal was just so much fun to make. I was totally absorbed in this one. I think this is the first journal I've every actually finished and wished there were more pages. It was based on just cutting and pasting snippets of paper I loved and then being inspired by the patterns or colors on those papers. I just really let go and had lots of fun.
In addition to the pictures below I posted a flip through video on my youtube channel. If you have not visited my youtube channel in a while go and have a look. I have lots of fun videos there including previews of all my classes. You can check out the videos here.
Above - front cover of my Journal
I used my circle punch a lot in this journal - something I almost never use but it was close by and so I punched away.
My favorite Mach II pens allow you to dry nice thin lines - love these pens.
Really - only your rules count - that's why working in journals is so fun.
Love the stickers at the top - they were planner stickers I bought at Michaels but I used them anyways
I think it was all the graphic patterns in this 6 x 6 paper pad that I bought that really inspired this whole journal - it's the Boho 6 x 6 paper pack by Recollections available at Michaels.
Just vertical snippets of paper
The orange-ish face is from Jane Davenports new line including this wash tape - I think its only available at Michaels.
Love love pink and orange
The strips are from an old paper pack that I still love - I filled in the blanks
Lately I have a thing for giraffes
and clearly a thing for circles
More of those planning stickers in the center of the flowers
Pure color - copic markers
The houses of course made it into my journal as well. The first row is from a paper pad (Prima?) which included a sheet of houses. Then a row of my own and then more paper pad houses
This page just makes me happy
girls, girls, girls,
and there are always flowers
I hope you enjoyed this and mostly I hope it has inspired you to make your own journal with no rules. Check out the flip through video on my youtube channel here
