I wanted to show you something a little different today that I have been doing. You see I purchased these. And I purchased them because of course I love anything that is COPIC. These come in a pack of 4 in these sizes 0.03, 0.5, 0.1 and 0.3 nibs. They are all very fine point
and so you can imagine the fun I had playing around with the 4 different sizes. The really fine point one (0.03) is so fine it is almost scratchy on the paper - but it does create the best hatch marks on my leaves. My favorite is probably the 0.1 because you can do fine detail work but the pen is still smooth on the paper. You can get these just about anywhere now. I know dickblick has them and the Shoppe at Somerset also has them. Here are a few sketches I did:
I have been trying to learn how to use my camera better using different aperture settings (what???!!) and stuff - so that is why you are seeing different tones on these pics
