Yes a WIP (work in progress) in progress! ; )
So here`s step 2, well actually probably step 2, 3, and 4 of my little house which I showed you in my previous post. If you remember I had to tone down that yellow background a bit. So that was first on the list:
I just gave it a quick wash of some white paint - wet the brush, put a little bit of white on the end of it and `messily` stroked some of it right on the yellow - it worked really well and yet it remained bright - just as I wanted it
Look here you can see the difference from the sky to the yellow in between the houses - I really did tone down the yellow
Then I worked some more on my sky - which I love now - it actually looks puffy doesn't it? Then the next steps you can see was to add some funky doodles - that really makes things come together
And this time I even added a fence - the fence believe it or not was the remains from a sheet of banners - once I punched the banners out this is what I was left with- and in it I saw a fence and it fit in perfectly.
