Many of you taking my Journal Backgrounds online class over at Creative Workshop have told me that you find the backgrounds themselves perfect as a journal pages without doing a foreground.
Well that may be true but you know, I always like to try a little bit more - see how far we can take the page.
I had shown you some of the background pages we create in the class and then I showed you how I create the foregrounds on these backgrounds in previous posts. (If you haven't checked out this class go take a look - I am getting fabulous feedback on this one!!)
Here are some more of my foregrounds on the backgrounds we created in class
This is one of the backgrounds we create in the class
Then I did this as part of the foreground
But then I felt it still need more so I did this - (the change is on the right hand page below)
Then there was this background:
to which I added this:
And then if you remember from the class, the journal I used was one with text in it and I worked on top of that. So I create my first page like this:
You see that`s the benefit of using a journal with text pages - you get to see that text through some of your work without having to add it yourself!
I`m loving this journal and I have lots of pages still to fill up - I don`t want it to end. For those of you taking the class leave us some feedback here on this point, or even better some links to some of your backgound!
