So I created a lovely new piece of art, and as per usual I will post this in the next day or so.
I debated whether or not to put these prints in my etsy shop but I really wanted these originals to have a place of their own. They kinda' mean a lot to me and I didn't want to blend them in with everything - I wanted them to have a home of their own. The only problem with this is that I find people never seem to hop on over to that page whereas they will go over to my etsy shop. I tell you - it is an ongoing challenge to weave our way through all this social media (btw while I do use facebook now for my blog I have to tell you - I still have difficulty finding my way around!0
So, while on the topic of where to find things I thought I would do a little "adminstrative" post here today and help us all get organized.
Here we go:
You can always find my original art right here
You can spot what's new at a glance on the top right hand corner of my blog
You can always view more of my journal pages here and here and here and here and here and here - you get the idea
You can see some of my guest interviews here and here
You can view some of my books and actually see inside the covers right here and here
All of my online classes are available here and now you can get to see a list of just my classes! Did you also know that you can get to my classes, view previews and even purchase them right on my website if you take a look at the left handside of my blog.
Some of the programs I am affiliated with are here and I mention this here just to explain the way the affilitate programs work. If you make a purchase for example of the Upper Case magazine and you do it here on my site - I receive a small (very small) fee for promoting them. Note that I only ever do this when I really want to support another site - like Uppercase for example
I hope this makes my blog clearer for you and helps you with trying to get around here. I know there is a lot of information but I want you to be able to get to things quickly if you want to look further.
I'd like your opinion on something while we are at this. It has been suggested to me that I should look at having my blog professionally designed - what do you think? - would a professionally designed Cathy Michaels Design site make it maybe easier for your to navigate around - do you navigate around my blog and can you always find what you are looking for? What do you think - stick with the old or go all new?
Let me know - I love to hear from you
