I hope all of you who were waiting for my new online class Focus on Backgrounds have registered since the class opened Monday and now you will have access to the files to get started on your journal backgrounds!
When I was at Create NJ there was a vendor fair night and I had shown you some of my wonderful purchases I made in a previous post.
Well I have been debating and debating what to do with these items. You see the thing is when I really love something I just want to hold on to it. I keep waiting for that next best wonderful piece I am going to create that is "worthy" of these wonderful little bits. Well I usually end up thinking that nothing is worthy of my new little finds and so these great items stay shelved.
No more, no more I say - I am going to use them - and that's final! Well sort of final.
What I did do with all my vintage letters, sheets music, bills and other ephemera was decided to make these wonderful shadow boxes that house all of my favorite items - and I love them and wanted to show them to you here.
Note - it is very very difficult to take pictures of something in a shadow box - as the name implies - a shadow box is full of - well you know - shadows! ; )
In any case, here is my first attempt at showcasing my new found, worthy items.
Isn't it precious - I plan on making a lot more and maybe I might even make a few for the shop!
Happy Wednesday all
