As promised, some more ideas for wrapping since it seems I am on a roll and getting this done way early this year.
This year I have a lot of small items to package and I didn't want to just do the traditional small box thing. So using a variety of different types of mini bags here is what I did.
Using a wax paper bag (love these for the rustic theme I am going with) place your stationary inside - I included my thank you cards - so that the bag "hugs' the stationary and is a nice tight fit. Then wrap a string of twine (I used blue here) in a + fashion - this will hold everything inside and keep your bag closed as well. If you have any christmas decorations left over like this strand of mini balls I had - simply string that around your twine as well. Then take some chipboard letters (and I know you all have boxes and boxes of chipboard letters that you never know what to do with ; ) I know I do) and spell out a word - NOEL works weel cuz it fits in each square made by the twine. I just glued the letters on with a glue stick - Couldn't be simpler!

Now you know I couldn't wrap all my stationary gifts the same way so here's another option for small flat pieces of stationary of any kind this time using a glassinge bag

Tthis honestly took a total of about 2 minutes to put together. Take a glassine bag and put your items in. Using some Christmas cardstock cut a strip approx 2" wide. Glue it around the envelope. Next take some twine or any stiff ribbon and staple it to the bag. Add some gems if you have (like the green pearls I show here), a green ribbon (also stapled on). Then to cover your staples take a little Christmas clothespeg like my mirror reindeer ( these are available everywhere this year - these are from the dollar store) and attach to the top of the bag to hide the staples. Closer to a minute in fact!!!
I also bought these beautiful little magnets which are from the Papaya line and they are so beautiful that I really didn't want to cover them all up. I found their colors are part of the packaging.

Take a tiny little clear glassine bag and put the magnet inside, leaving about 2 inches of bag at the top. Cut a small strip of Christmas paper and staple that to the top of the bag being sure not to cover any part of the magnet. Wrap in a pretty twine or wool as I used here - a little dollar store christmas tree hot glued on and finally a little bit of whimsy with some gold filler which I just glued to the back of the paper strip!
One final one to show you which is not exactly Christmas-ybut you could quickly make it Christmas-y - by addin a renideer or two - but I would leave it as is.
This is a really nice way to let someone know you are giving them something personal or something handmade. I included some thank you cards and also some of my little gift tags in this bundle. Again I wanted the inside to show through and I wanted it to be personal.

Take a clear glassine bag and wrap it with twine in a + pattern. Take a wax seal* and glue it to the center of the twine. That's it - pretty packaging in what ... 10 seconds!! (*these wax seals were made using wax and an embosser with my initial - you can purchase these sets almost anywhere now)
Hope you enjoyed this ... there will be more since now I have all the larger packages to wrap!!
