Well despite all the busy-ness I have been journalling.

Now this is fun - this is scrapbook paper on the top and bottom but in the middle I created my own version of the flowers in the bottom - sort of continuing that patter - I like this.

 

 
 
Same idea here - only the top 1/4 of the page is a pieces of scrapbook paper - the rest is replicated by me!!

Great Weekend

Hi - good weekend to you all.

 

I am so excited to show you the latest edition to my Shop!!!! 

I have received so many overwhelming comments on my flickr postings of my journal pages and doodle art.  So I decided to print some journal books with my artwork as cover art.  I had them done at Snapfish where I do all my printing since they do such a great job.  And they came out beautiful.

So - some new additions to my shop here - I will be selecting different art to print more and more of these journals so if you have preferences let me know.  But these I think came out beautifully.

 
 
 

They are blank pages inside on really nice paper which accepts the pencil very nicely.  And for added fun I jotted down some notes on the inside cover for you ...

Art Journal Every Day Wednesday and To Do Lists

Argghhh  - there are so many things I want to do and get started on and I can't find enough hours in the day to get them all done. What's worse is I now have this nasty cold and it is seriously affecting my creative night times!!! LOL.

Here, in no particular order of importance are the things I want to get done this week

• get more kits in the shop - (these have been going like crazy and I love making them!)\
• follow up on remaining letters to licensing companies (I need to keep at this!)
• finish that video  (it's coming I promise - it is just a lot of work!)
• look for art retreat to attend this summer (I promise myself this this year - anyone want to come with me?
• get back to journalling every day (|I| still have a backlog of pictures to show you but I haven't worked on any new pages since working on the video)
• get started on planning local workshops (Gisele - I AM calling you)

And those are only my short term to do's!  Ah time time time - only 24 hours in a day - I would need about 30!!!

this is something new I tried, the flower petals are actually tape, you know that new sticky wasabi tape - I got the idea from something I saw on flickr I have to admit and I will find the source and post it here.  This one is pretty rough but I like the idea.

this one is interesting - still a wip but what I did was took one of my collaged journal pages which was done with all paper, and drew it !  More on this on another post where I will show you side by side the collaged paper piece and then the drawn piece - I love it.

 
 
And then I wanted to show you this wip again because I noticed in yesterdays post it got cut off and I really love this one and need to finish it!
